Supporting Keller Williams Families Affected by the Central Texas Floods.
Texas Needs Us: KW Pasadena Stands with Our KW Family Impacted by Historic Flooding
At Keller Williams Pasadena, we know that our strength comes from the culture we share — a culture rooted in care, community, and the commitment to stand together when it matters most. Right now, our KW family in Texas needs us more than ever.
Over the Fourth of July weekend, Central Texas — especially Kerr County along the Guadalupe River — faced one of the most devastating flash floods in its history. A stalled storm cell, fueled by remnants of Tropical Storm Barry, caused torrential rain that pushed the Guadalupe River to rise an astonishing 26 feet in just 45 minutes. Camp Mystic and surrounding communities were overtaken by rapidly rising waters that swept away cabins, uprooted trees, and tragically claimed more than 80 lives — including 27 campers and counselors. Many remain missing as rescue efforts continue. Families and entire communities have been left devastated by this disaster.
When we faced the Eaton Fires here in Pasadena earlier this year, so many of you remember how our Keller Williams family in South Texas stepped up immediately to help us. They sent supplies, donations, and words of encouragement that reminded us we were not alone during an incredibly difficult time. Their generosity helped many of us get through the toughest days and rebuild our homes and businesses with hope.
Today, it’s our turn to return that same kindness and compassion. KW International has called on Market Centers across the country to come together and support those impacted by this historic flooding. They have asked specifically for Amazon and Walmart gift cards, cash, or checks to help KW agents and their families cover urgent needs to begin rebuilding their lives.
To stand with them, our Keller Williams Pasadena Market Center will be making a contribution through our Pasadena Market Cares fund. In addition, we invite every agent, staff member, and friend of our office to join us in adding to this care package so that our support makes a real difference for our Texas KW family. Even a small gesture can mean the world to someone who has lost so much.
Here’s how you can help:
If you’d like to contribute, please bring your Amazon or Walmart gift cards, cash, or checks to our MCA, Karin Robison, by Tuesday, July 15th. We will be collecting all donations and sending them directly to the affected Market Centers in Texas to distribute to KW agents and families who need help now.
If you can’t make it to the office but still want to help, reach out to Karin or your Team Leader to coordinate your contribution. Together, we can send not just financial help but a powerful message of solidarity, hope, and care — a reminder that no one in our KW family has to face this alone.
In times like these, our culture truly comes to life. It’s not about what we say — it’s what we do for each other that defines us. Let’s pay forward the generosity that was once shown to us and continue to show the world what it means to be part of Keller Williams.
Thank you for always being there for each other, for our community, and for our extended KW family across the country. Your kindness and support mean more than words can say.
With gratitude,
Your Keller Williams Pasadena Market Center Team
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you, KW Pasadena Real Estate Agents. You showed up, gave big, and proved once again that we’re in business with the best.
